Re: Wales Vs Italy - 6N Official Match Thread - Welsh wooden 🥄?
England pull off a last minute win: "Results are all that matter" Italy lose close matches: "Yeah, but they deserve credit" You can't have it both ways. I'm not sure what argument you are trying to make. We all know results don't tell the whole story. The English thread were telling anyone wh...

Re: Wales Vs Italy - 6N Official Match Thread - Welsh wooden 🥄?
This will be their third 6N win in a decade. Let's hold off on the praise until they've actually put a string of results together... There was too much made of the losing streak IMO. They were improving all the time just at that time so was everyone else. Now the other teams bar Ireland have lost s...

I hope the players are suitably ashamed of themselves Italy are firmly in the 6N pack and barring the RWC debacle they are hard to beat. No real shame in losing although today Wales have looked as awful as they have ever been I still think Wales had to select too many youngsters and serial losers b...

Re: Yeah, don't fly boeing planes at the moment
Merging with McDonell Douglas was a disaster. Remember that is the company that made the DC-10 which is one of the most accident prone passenger planes ever manufactured. Boeing started prioritizing speed to market. The company workers were actually told explicitly that the stock price is the most ...

When did Wooden Spoon become the award for finishing last rather than losing all your games in a whitewash?

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Unless I'm mistaken (not impossible), then it's still mathematically possible for England to finish 5th. If Italy hose Wales, and England take a pasting from France (and get nothing from the game), then Italy leapfrog them irrespective. That would just leave Scotland needing to get 1 bonus point fr...

I love reading you guys on commercial aviation. Most of you are absolutely clueless as to how the industry works. Not sure who you are referring to, but I am literally taking that from the FAA report. Outsourcing is not an issue. QC and oversight is the issue there. Both Airbus and Boeing outsource...

It's obviously racist, anyone claiming otherwise is an imbecile. Of course you can be racist against white people. Jesus Christ people are thick. Did anyone have an issue with Marcus even going for the DG? This has come up on my beloved eggchasers podcast. Someone wrote in to say it was a dumb move, as a try would give us the BP and only 3 points behind Ireland and we had the kick in front of posts anyway. I mean….I hadn’t even thought about...

Italy only lost to England by 3 point s, drew with France and beat Scotland. They could've been second on the table with a match to go. Last match is against the bottom side Wales. Not sure how anyone could be a shoe in ahead of Bundee. Reffell is great but his cause is probably helped by the fact Wales have been under pressure for much of this tournament, I don’t think he’s much of a ball carrier or link man Reffell has been exceptional in a losing cause every time he's play...

Faz and Steward are better than that. Happy that we've moved on to open up our style of play but no point knocking those players etc. Also long term I'd like Josh Hodge to be looked at, once he's bulked up a couple of cycles. I noticed that Chessum packed down at 8 on defensive scrums to allow the specialists to cover better. A smarter attack than Ireland I think would have targeted the 8 off scrum ball as it can be hard to defend from 8 at the base

Great to see the Welsh sage on here admitting error and misjudgement. Such generosity of spirit. Oh. Wait. Ireland were muck, and that was 100% of England's capability. Mitchell is some player. First time we’ve had serious pace in our backs for years. Pack was big and dynamic. Chessum experiment worked. Earl is world class. Some of that decision making at the end. Every time England messed up a chance Ireland were like oh though luck here have another go. The whole performance was off today. It happens. A good starting point is that the national side coaching ticket needs to be, indisputably, the best coaching ticket in the land. One which club/provincial players are enthused about being coached by.
