And lo and behold, the bench again lacks impact. It defies logic. It defies logic people believe our current ...

Bollocks, sure we didnt secure our ball when we needed to and BB blew it for us at the end, but being at Ellis Park is no excuse for the poor officiating. How did bb blow it at the end? Am I forgetting something? This the chips? I'm struggling to get too worked up about that. We had to go 90 metres...

Re: RCR3 Springboks vs All Blacks @ Ellispark

Thought we did enough at 60 min but letting them steal that ball in the 22 was a massive turning point, that was the time to close it out. We then went into our shells to defend a lead with pointless kicking and no confidence to make them chase the game and hold possession. Fair play to the Boks ki...

BB’s dinky chips were trying to create something from nothing when we were beaten with one minute to go. The game was over. Not a big deal. His off night with territorial kicking concerned me more but I don’t think we have a better 15 in that area do we?

General thoughts. I thought the penalty against TJP was ridiculous. Surely you give a warning on a call like that. Don’t get me started on the context, massive momentum shift. Springbok midfield was very difficult to retain possession against. I suspect that influenced the decisions of the back thre...

Picking guys like TJ and Cane is trying to get a win at the expense of developing players who will be around next year. Given that the RWC is a whole 3 years away, I'd prefer the selectors selected the better players to win games now, rather than pick based solely on potential. Ratima will still ga...

Honestly, he was probably promised quite a bit of leeway in his tactics and he feels Razor was overriding him too much. We should be talking about the game rather than tomfoolery. I thought the ABs badly lost direction in the 2nd half. They lack a killer instinct to put teams away. Ioane back, Cane in the team. Razor is trolling AC. I was assured Jordan would be selected at 15. In all honesty I'd rather see a back three of Clarke, Tele'a and Jordan with BB making an impact of the bench. This is a very conservative selection. I still presume he will be long term for the ...

Savea was very recently the best player in the world, as a no.8… That's true, as an individual. My personal belief is that Ardie at 8 throws out the backrow balance due to our other options or lack thereof so I feel the team would be better if he were at 7 allowing us a physical 8 which would give ...

No, we had that game well in hand at 20-8 and absolutely let it slip. That's partly coaching, yes, no doubt. But also a big part on the onfield leaders - we just needed a bit of calm to stop the slide, instead we compounded error on error. To lose 29-10 for the rest of the game after being up 20-8 ...
