Re: All Blacks 2024
These are the key player stats for the year for players who played for more than 200 minutes: Thanks PP. Those are useful stats to know and refer to. If you have any 'average stats per game' or 'per x minutes played' to share that would also be useful. Yes this adds some important context. Oppositi...

Re: All Blacks 2024
And find a place for Ruben Love... he has something about him. Maybe 15.. and Jordan back on the wing. I know Jordan wants to play fullback but he just hasn't looked as comfortable there as he does on the wing... he seems indecisive when he has time to think.. whereas on the wing he gets less time ...

Re: OFFICIAL GLI AZZURRI V ALL BLACKS NH TOUR MATCH THREAD.
I’ll say it again. Robertson wants his best team building valuable minutes on the pitch together. I get a strong sense the team isn’t quite landing his tactics yet so he wants to get the core team humming first. Once that’s working, we can start experimenting more freely with new players like we use...

I think Robertson wants to give his core squad as much time together on the pitch as he can.

Re: All Blacks 2024
Kini Naholo has pace, but I still have doubts about his rugby nous. There are some seriously quick guys running around in NPC, but as PP said, Soup has become too conservative and to some extent, by extension, so has the ABs. Chay Fihaki FFS, the Bus was still trotting around keeping younger player...

It seems to be for many NZers or Saffers who are probably afraid of this guy becoming one of the rugby GOATs if not the GOAT. Afraid of DuPont becoming the Goat? He got outplayed by Roigard who was playing his 4th test at the weekend and last time we played France, he got comfortably outplaye...

Re: World Rugby Awards 2024 - Nominees
This serves as a good reminder for anyone who mistakenly takes these awards seriously—rather than their actual purpose as a broad popularity contest. Dupont nominated for 7s POTY. You know, the same guy who played in less than half the World Series events and came off the bench at the Olympics. Bre...

Re: Official Les Bleus v All Blacks NH Tour Match thread,
Personally think BB was solid if unspectacular (with a few dumb mistakes) and I think most neutrals will agree. Anyone saying otherwise is basically stating whether they like the guy or not. He’s still quite polarising among fans, which is unfortunate.

Do we know whether BB and Codie are back in the selection mix for the French game? Not sure what games some of our countrymen have been watching. I haven't seen BB produce the kind of composed display DMac put out there in years. He was MOTM for starters, which should instantly discredit Wignu's strange couple of posts. I don’t think DMac should have been MOTM personally. He play...

I’m now firmly in the “keep Sititi at 6” camp. Credit to Razor and his team for seeing that would work so well. It's going to be really interesting to see how the backrow comes together next year. You'd think that Savea and Sititi are certainties. Who else comes in and what numbers do they wear. I ...

Possibly a dumb question, but Sam cane gets a knee to ground before he was shunted over the try line for the 5m scrum. Does that mean anything? I’m a bit iffy on the rules once a knees hits the deck, it’s normally the result of the defending team trying to hold them up for a maul.

So Finau makes our starting team based solely on his height? Form now means much less than how tall a player says they are? He was one of the best 3 players on the park in the most recent test. Jordan played well today. I’m starting to think he is the new BB, in that the commentators get incredibly excited if he’s somewhat in the vicinity of the ball. It’s a bit painful sometimes.
