To do that, you must have driven past the ball already. Hence, counter rucking.earl the beaver wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 9:39 pmIt's not counter rucking if you seal the ball off by going to your kneesmarcopolio wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 9:33 pmNah it's good to see. Looking forward to seeing George Ford playing behind this pack.

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
The Players lawsuit has done that. Absolutely no chance the game survives if the players don’t change. There's no way that should be a red. There's no jeopardy allowance. Earl did nothing wrong. It doesn’t matter what we think, the ref is 100% correct with the laws. I said the decision was correct ...

At knee height. No mitigation for tackling low when the guy gets tackled into you? That has to be a yellow at worst.

The wrap comes after as well but the guy is already on the floor. I get the law has been applied correctly but that is a joke for the game.

Re: England vs All Blacks Official Match Thread
There has been some really nice stuff from Farrell at the line tonight, getting really flat and throwing quality passes. Some good stuff from Smith as well, in smaller measure.
One small bright spot in a very dark night. Perhaps the darkest being the lack of ability to perform in the lineout.

Two scrums symptomatic of England's cluelessness. First one, Billy breaks to the blindside, is tackled, forwards flap around, ball goes to Itoje, he's tackled, forwards flap around a bit more looking like they don't even know how to secure breakdown ball. Abysmal. Second one, scrum stationary, secu...

England are incredibly disorganised Can't provide clean ball. Props getting mashed. Lineout inaccuracy and disorganisation in attack and defence. Terrible maul defence. Lots of idiotic penalties. Congrats NZ. Deserved on the balance of play.
England made terrible decisions under pressure. Last lineout was so obviously a throw to 2 jumper. So poor.

NZ chip kicking into touch to allow England to setup rolling mauls is a bold choice.
