Re: NZ Politics Thread

No, you're right, it's not.

Something has got to change though. The current way isn't working. Might I suggest keeping violent thugs in jail for longer. It beggars belief you can murder someone, get a life sentence and be out of jail in 10 years.

Maybe we could learn from El Salvadore?

Re: Melbourne Rebels goooooooone… soon to be Rebels Pasifika?

It is a 7s tournament !!! Oh well, even that is an improvement. It’s probably a module for a term at these schools, culminating in the tournament. It would be nice to build the rugby programmes at these schools to have a fully-fledged XVs competition one day. I counted 9 on field for th...

Re: Melbourne Rebels goooooooone… soon to be Rebels Pasifika?

There’s plenty of money in Australian sport. No one wants to tune into the dross that we got served up last night. Nor to see Aussie teams get pumped on the regular from Kiwi sides that have an inherently superior system. Hear, hear. I've been calling for Australia to ditch Super Rugby for years bu...

Let me wrap up by reiterating my opinions, which is where I should have left things from the start:
- Having a local SR team is good for community rugby.
- A SR team is not essential to running community rugby programmes or establishing pathways.

Would be hilarious and classic Black Caps to lose this match. Even if they win its a moral loss at this point. Even more embarrassing is we have 2 South Africans in our XI If and when NZ win, it will be a moral loss and an asterisk... Unless the Black Caps can knock this total off before tea I agree

NZ rugby would lose a big chunk of fans. Lots of paying boomers would be lost as fans. The effect on junior amd grass roots rugby wouldn't be as much.
