Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Decent question. Russell has improved at Racing IMO. Might have done so anyway, or because of being behind a better pack. Hard to tell with Gray because of injury, but not especially from his Sale days. The likes of Strauss - no; CdP - hard to tell (injury); Dell - too early; Reid - no; Maitland - a...

Re: Greta Thunberg

My point is rather that the collective global action needed is far more likely to happen fast (and it needs to be fast) if and only if the US is behind it.

The whataboutery re China, India, my aunt Fanny only serves to reinforce that point. So thanks for that.

It's only really when the likes of the US, or indeed the US specifically, takes this seriously that serious global action will happen. That's why people go on about them. And it's right that they do.

Don't know why they pussyfoot around the c*nt so much. There already was a deal to prevent Iran getting nukes, and Trump has made it more likely. The rest of the world has to put up with this sh!t because he can't stand that a black man is better than him.

Seems unlikely. I don't see any reason to assume either a) technology will inevitably progress to the extent that high level radioactive waste will be neutralised or made wholly safe, or b) that it's The Greens that are stymying this progress. There's a lot of woolly thinking around the green moveme...

I enjoy/endure a fair bit of chat with Ingerlish types about the egg chasing, and their assumption of the superiority of their league, as in many other matters tbf, is so deep-seated they don't even know they're doing it. Every time they get humped by a Pro14 outfit it's clear evidence that the lack...

Regarding the 'viable alternatives' that wouldn't really be an issue as it'd still be free at the point of delivery. You might even have more choice with hospitals competing for NHS clients.
