Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Anyone, especially any Ulster posters, criticising Leinster, of all teams, for their use of NIQs is laughable. We're the only Irish side who plays an Irish tighthead as first choice FFS! Anyway, looking forward to the game tomorrow. Lots of players to have a look at. We were not complaining about y...

Would you be shocked to see him in a squad in two and a half years time?

No, I mean he's probably not first choice for Exeter atm because he signed for Worcester last month.
Unlikely, he wasnt first choice before he decided to leave, Mitchell was.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Since Geordan Murphy is retired from International rugby there is a slot open for the one player playing outside Ireland to get in the squad. Step up Tomas O'Leary. John Andress please. He's not even first choice for Exeter, he's a missed opportunity, not a viable option. That's probably because he...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

That slithery fecker frankie sheehan for example absolutely dismissed the notion that somehow our performance against England might have been the worst under Deccie. Then he picked Hartley on team of the tourney, and then started going on about how Cronin should start. While I have no problem with ...

Re: Kidney Out.

I felt very sorry for Court yesterday because of his lack of game time but even allowing for that he was crap, for those proposing Hagan he is only beginning to show form again in the last few months, just a glimmer of form. Who else is there? Archer, Loughney, Macklin. Does anybody want to work the ...

What are the chances of BOD coming back in at 12. Earls looks to be settling in well at 13.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

I'm concerned with the penalty situation. 14 against us on Saturday? f**king hell. Add in the French total, how we were reffed against Wales and we are doing something wrong. All good sides should be living on the edge at the breakdown, but we are giving away too many penalties. Plus the error coun...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

I'm delighted for Rory Best, it's well deserved and I think he will do very well, he's one of the senior trio there along with POC and BOD so he has the upmost respect from the other players and he's been doing this at Ulster for a while now. Who was the last Ulster Skipper of Ireland?? Rory Best. ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Shame Leo is out for this one, he'd be just the man to come in and lead both the lineout and the team. Massive doubts over Bests bottle. Not sure if lumping the captaincy on him is the best idea, he is dodgy under pressure as we saw again at the weekend..

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Earls child is apparently unwell, so I think any speculation that he has been dropped can end now. Very worried about our backline. McFaddens defence in the Scotland game pre World Cup was poor, he has yet to deliver an outstanding game for Leinster in the HEC in the centre be in 12 or 13. Kearneys ...
