Re: England in India 2nd test, Visakhapatnam

Can we chase this down? It's amazing that it's even a question - we've never chased more than 100 in India to win. It's a testimony to the current team that the target is even considered a possibilty. It'll be amazing if they do - They'll have to see off Bumrah's reverse swing when the ball gets a ...

Quality OP Derwyn  As one wag put it- England fielded two Ospreys cast offs in the backrow. Wales will win this and Borthwick will spout a word salad worthy of a slimmers world menu. They don’t even look that good on paper. Marler, Cole, Care, Steward, Daly, Gissum, Obano + underwhelming Underhill. No wonder they play insipid rugby. No and to be honest I am not sure how good this Welsh team is on paper as I generally have better things to spend my finite time on than watching t...

Always enjoy watching the U20s. Quite impressed with the Orclings against Italy who looked pretty useful themselves.

We could do with a 9 that doesn't slow everything down and could pass more accurately.

Some of the gushing over England, particularly roots, has been nothing short of embarrassing. So not just me. I thought Dallagio in particular was over the top. If England were as good as he and Kaye made out they'd have won at canter. England thrived off Italy's mistakes. More accurate opposition ...

Bit of a drubbing. Ireland make so few errors - and nearly always make the right calls. Very impressive performance. France were disappointing but were just getting no change from the tight knit Irish defence.

Bench looks interesting. Seems we'll have 5 debutants in the match. Probably as much as you could have expected. I'd have liked to see Furbank at FB but not surprised he's stuck with Steward. Really can't understand how Roots has got in ahead of Pearson but I guess we'll see how he shapes up.

I think Marcus Smith is a huge talent. He's proven year after year with Harlequins he's the real deal. They've built a game around their 8-9-10-12 axis and it works. I just don't think he's right for England. He just doesn't suit their style of play, and he's definitely not a fullback. England neve...
