Re: Israel declares state of war
As you refuse to condemn Israeli excesses and war crimes . You haven’t the moral high ground here , don’t kid yourself . Fortunately you are neither the authority or the judge. Admittedly self criticism isn’t your strength neither is empathy . Basically a fan boi for military conflict and an easy a...

Re: Israel declares state of war
Iran certainly and I’m pretty sure an agreement with Saudi Arabia wasn’t desired. Netanyahu and the extremist governments demise , the world opinion both placing Palestine at the centre rather than a forgotten aside ; world opinion then turning against Israel . It’s a mistake to think this was merel...

Re: Israel declares state of war
I think it’s very appropriate to condemn Hamas for the nature and practise of their horrific incursion. I’m absolutely certain it was to provoke such an unfettered response from Isreal and that what’s developed is exactly what was planned for and anticipated. Desperation however doesn’t excuse the g...

Re: Israel declares state of war
Irrelevant. Really unintelligent thinking. Every rocket was intended to kill, Israel spent something like $50,000 per rocket protecting lives. Israel cares a lot more about human life than Hamas does. So, nothing to say about the massive amount of palestinain's killed on a yearly basis by the IDF?....

Re: Israel declares state of war
“Defensive wars are necessary. The UKs D-day landing was widely supported in 1944 and 3,000 civilians were killed.“ Inaccurate bombing from the technology available at the time is one thing , but there’s worlds of difference in Gaza. There was also a disproportionate of deaths of friendlies in Norma...

Not quite a clever as I’m sure it sounded in your head .

Many hundreds .
Yet we are being persuaded that this is the usual state of things during a war , all bets being off and restraint irrelevant.
I’m not buying it .

There’s no comparison.
Luxon is leading from ten miles behind the front .
And here were some arguing that Winston was telling Jacinda what to do .
Take a gander at the present menagerie .
It’s not MMP , it’s rather a decision made , hopefully it’s not permanent .
Where’s the leadership ?

Certainly the optics might be managed far better by the IDF.
Lousy fire discipline seems endemic in Gaza however loudly and very obviously falsely denying culpability destroys credibility.
It’s getting harder and harder to escape the fact that this is often looking deliberate.

Very optimistic about this season , we might not win the thing but I expect to be extremely competitive.
They’ll be some very good rugby played and I’ll go to at least a couple of home games .
Getting things lined up for permanent membership and seats in the new stadium.
Go Saders !!
