Re: Steve Hanson confirmed bad coach?

To be fair, Hansen has confirmed that the reason for the loss was the "dumb players".

He'll make the All Blacks great again. :D

Re: Wallabies vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Perth Aug 10

Whoever was in the 6 jersey was our best forward. Sam Cane was a bit quiet form the fist 40 but stepped up in the 2nd . Read was a bit messy, his skills have dropped, but he never gave up under difficult circumstances. So which loose do you really mean? Did you mean stepped off Ted? Cane was subbed...

Re: Wallabies vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Perth Aug 10

I don't remember that in 015 though you may be right. I'm not a big believer in the holding stuff back narrative but it's possible I guess. I think a coaching crew that changes their 1st/5 a month out from a WC is flailing quite frankly not to mention the Savea shuffle. There is a reason myself and...

Rueben Thorne was so under-rated, be stoked if prime Rueben Thorne was lining up in the #6 jersey this weekend. I'm also down with Read moving up the line out. Securing ball is the priority and our hookers just aren't in the class of all time throwers like Fitzy. Also disappointed NZRU have not inv...

No that's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying I want to see him used more often in a pressure situation late in the game so we dont have a repeat of what happened in Argentina a few weeks ago. Re: Wallabies vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Perth Aug 10

Yeah I much prefer a kick or toe-poke through into space from the 10 as opposed to the up and under from the 9, they are always a lottery as the ball is in the air too long. Better to try and use the pace of Rieko or BB as the chasing runners, even if the opposition f/b or wing latches onto the bal...

Re: Wallabies vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Perth Aug 10

In this World Cup cycle (2016-2019), the number of penalty goals scored by the All Blacks has dropped a whopping 59.9%. The proceeding cycle (2012-2015) saw a modest decline of 6.0% and the previous two before that saw rising numbers. It’s safe to say that this cycle has shifted All Blacks test rug...

Like this team, that one had a core of excellent players but were inexperienced in key positions.
