How West London? There is an Irish pub in Chiswick which will certainly be showing it.

Is Connor Murray done?
Yes. As an player for this Particular Irish team.Unless injuries dictate otherwise. Still a superb scrum half but Ireland don’t play his way anymore.

Full match up already: https://youtu.be/KbW9troCpMI Thanks. It was 01.00 at half time here and having watched the Ulster match I couldn't put myself through another defeat. Just watched it now and I realise what happened. Munster won by accident through their own stupidity and naivety. For some rea...

It’s been six long months, but the board is back to normal. All is well with the world. The usual suspects back to doing the usual stuff. It is like a timewarp back to 2010.

That is the last link to the golden age of Hollywood gone. Can’t think of anyone else who was a major star in the 1930s, still alive. Famously, she’s meant to have had a fairly terrible relationship with her sister. Two fabulous looking woman.

Re: Your favourite Bond theme song??

I think the “living daylights” has held up quite well. I remember reading that John Barry and A-ha clashed over his insistence on including orchestral backing to the track. Much later, they had the good grace to admit that he was right and they were wrong and that the song is much better for the inc...

Yes we are heading into one hell of a recession, but probably for the first time in our history we are heading into one at exactly the same time is everyone else. And probably for the first time it is not due to her own fecklessness and stupidity. And unlike some other countries which are heavily de...

Surprised nobody has mentioned Jack Clark. Genuinely, one of the slowest backs ever to play international football. Ungainly, stiff limbed with zero evasion skills. Even his one good moment on the the rugby field, his assist for Gordon Hamilton’s try, reveals the motion and suppleness of a 50 year o...

More to the point, we went from being genuine World Cup contenders to a implosion in form almost with precedence in modern rugby history. Nobody took us seriously in 1999 or 2009. Not the case this time.

What is really concerning is that Farrell is either ignoring or misreading the public mood. Last year was perhaps the most disastrous in Irish rugby for over twenty years. The gap between November 2018 and 2019 was genuinely shocking. And we have been here before, with Kidney doing the exact same as...

Agreed. How many times did Scotland break our line? Hardly at all. We looked far more dangerous in their 22 than they did in ours. The worry is how piss poor our front five were. Herring excepted.

I have always rather enjoyed the fact that the one Victoria cross won by somebody from Northern Ireland in WWII was the “wrong religion” so there was no desire to commemorate him until the 21st century. Says all you need to know about NI between 1920 and 1997.

Fair play to Neil Francis, it’s never grey, it’s always black and white. Last week, it was all doom and gloom as we had to few leaders and too many players out of form. This week, I’m glad to report we are now a match for anyone in the world!
