Made it in time to watch the ABs v Namibia match from my hotel room tonight. Unfortunately my suitcase had different ideas and MIGHT turn up tonight/overnight.

Watching RWC games in Edinburgh
Hello the bored Edinburghianianians, I arrive in your town this Friday night all the way from NZ. Will probably need to sleep to get over some jetlag and catching up with a relative that weekend, then I'm off to Islay for a few days but I might try and find a pub to watch Argentina v Samoa on Friday...

Hours, you say? Naturally you'll have receipts for that statement.

How about the cojones on the Southland Boys Year 11 student Jimmy Taylor. Slotted clutch place kicks to get SBHS into the Top 4, his kicking was key against PNBHS, then he slots a 41m drop goal (with plenty to spare) to give SBHS an 8-point lead with 10 to go.

Well regarded player in his time. Git ousted by the Auckland clique. Think Bernie McGahill took over and the ABs sucked. This isn't really correct, he went to league essentially because John Gallagher left and they were best mates. McCahill didn't take over from him, Walter Little did who was not p...

He's eligible, but he was a 12 and probably the worst 12 ever to play for Australia. Just thinking about it though, I think big Dell might be eligible on the wing. Wendell is definitely qualified. He’s Aussie af. Yeah he self IDs as Torres straight islander so he's in. As opposed to Torres bicuriou...

How about all-time Māori XV - who would come in? 15. Nepia v Cullen - you'd have to lean Cullen, but that's a genuine battle of two of NZ's greatest FBs 13. Johnny Smith at centre, maybe? 12. Bill Osborne 8. Shelford v Brooke - I'd stick with Zinny. 7. Waka Nathan - never lost a test as an AB Hika R...

Now something sinister in the bad gash suffered by Lomax. Mein Gott! Ennor is a better centre than Ioane and I'll die on that hill. I just spat out my drink reading that. What sort of karakia do you want for your last rites? As you know Booji, it's all about proportionality and distribution. Not sure how big you are on the walking these days, but both the Bannockburn Sluicings (near Cromwell) and the Earnscleugh Tailings near Alexandra offer some interesting tracks and quite other-worldly terrain. I'd probably lean towards Bannockburn (& you can visit a cellar door after).
