Re: Brumbies v Waratahs FFS!

Given that Queensland and Victroria were created by some gerrymandering flick of the pen, we should probably just have two teams, New South Wales and New Holland.

Re: Brumbies v Waratahs FFS!

As I understand it then, the logic seems to be that you can’t play for a team unless you were born within the sound of the church bells in that area Since about 90% of AU professional players come from Sydney or Brisbane, then I suppose we’re going to have to revert to a pre-90s, two-team format, i...

Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)

After lasts night game I reckon Talakai and Tupou need to be starting and bench THP for the wallabies. Tupou is slowly coming back into form and he’s a real impact player. Him coming off the bench with 35 to go is pretty handy. Gordon is also so frustrating. Best 10 in Australia by far with ball in...

Pretty incredible that Reds 20 year old tookie THP Massimo
de Lutid has a bigger bench than Tupou. Extraordinarily strong for being so young. He was huge for the u20s last year, single handedly demolished the NZ scrum. Hopefully gets some game time soon, could be a star.

Huh? Poor phrasing on my behalf, but if NZ gradually expanded at the same pace as Australia and SA, the competion would have kept even. Even is important, but so is quality. With hindsight it’s clear that expansion was a disaster. Go and watch super 12 from the mid 90s. Moana would wipe the floor w...
