Re: U.S. politics thread and Joe Biden-the Ronan O'Gara of U.S. Presidents
I would like to know the justification for Biden having these documents in his home. Is there a system where each new classified document is given a unique tracking number so that at the end of a Presidency, the National Archives and Records Administration knows immediately if some have not been tu...

Saint, can you ELI5 the pros/cons of smooth bore versus rifled, and how that impacts the doctrine around the use of the respective weapons systems? Thanks! Actually I think another issue with the Challenger is the ammunition. As far as I'm aware it's L30A1 120mm munitions are not compatible with other NATO 120mm guns. The Leopard and Abrams both use the Rheinmetall 120mm L/44 and L/55, and the Leclerc the GIAT 120mm CN120-26, but all have interchangea...

From what I've heard, and it makes the most sense, Western tanks will be grouped in their own units with Western IFVs (maybe BTR-4s too), rather than with ex-Soviet kit. Big mailed fists of complementary machines used in mass. Which is a much more succinct version of what I said. The strategy would...

Thanks! Poland is going to be one of the properly big boys after all this washes out. Pretty much.
