Re: WR: No new global calendar

Sorry... factual and relevant doesn’t apply, hence my scorn. The simple and relevant factor is population and the need for infrastructure to fill a variety of needs. NZ’s current home of rugby doubles as a cricket ground, ffs. We would love a purpose built rectangular ground stadium but the economy...

It could be like when Wigan played Sale. 40mins of League and then swap to Union at half-time. Sale won the game Wash your mouth out with soap. Wigan played Barf and smashed em. Sale played St Helens and pipped em. Three future international rugby union coaches playing for Wigan that day  http...

How does Akira Ioane make the team of the week when bored rugby authority jdogscoop insisted he was 'a lazy sack of shit' in the match thread? There weren't any standouts at 6 this week . Between this match and the Chiefs/Hurricanes match last week, this is the first time I've watched Super rugby in years. It's not bad, the standard is decent. I don't want to sound like I have a hard-on for Joe Marchant but his form pre-lockdown was excellent for the most part. He deserves at least a bench spot. Interesting positioning for Akira at six. This means he has to get stuck in more at ruck time but may also suit his close-in running game to get...

If the global calendar isn't agreed now, it will never be agreed. We don't want it. It's not about finding an agreement. Too many penalties to have a flowing game but the ref was very consistent.

Will take a bit of time for players to adapt, just hope the balance especially at the breakdown works out.
