Re: URC 2023/24 General match thread

What's happening in Cape Town? I can't watch the match but from the score the Ospreys seem to have the upper hand over the Stormers, Weather is chilly here, maybe that's it

Current score:

Re: URCR14 Lions vs Leinster

Some good tries scored in the game from both sides.

I think Manu Tshituka is making a mistake to move to the Sharks but hopefully he'll get the game time. I think he has developed into a better player than his brother Vincent

Re: URCR14 Lions vs Leinster

Just back from match. Well deserved win by the Lions. Leinster lost it in the first 15/minutes. Heat was unbelievable and it looked like our brains were scrambled at the start. Good second 20 minutes but due to bad execution and an unhelpful ref we didn't convert it into points. Some fringe players...

Abby Steiner Just Did It Again In The 100 Meters!

Probably the lack of an indoor season (and returning from injury) showing but if she can fix her start she could be great this season

Based on some other videos she ran the 4x100, the 100m and the 4x400 within the space of about 2-3 hours

Re: URCR14 Lions vs Leinster

Lions bolstered their team with some players they signed from the Pumas. Erich Cronje' and Morgan Naude' are hardened Pumas Currie cup players. JC Pretorius played for Pumas schools. Although they haven't played in the 2022 Currie cup final for the Pumas they are all players with some potential. Th...

At an IMDB 1.1 rating "Robyn Hood" (2023) must be the lowest rated series/movie I've ever come across. Robyn is a rapper from New Nottingham who, along with her hip-hop band, The Hood, fights corruption in the city; together, they pull out all the stops to prevent the Sheriff and elite developers fr...

Gary Player still looks sprightly for his 88 years... though Jack Nicklaus looked like he was labouring somewhat. I wonder why Player and Watson don't continue to play The Masters? They look fit enough... especially Watson.. he's only 74. Comes a time when they realise that they can't be competitiv...
