Re: 135kg schoolboy prop - with a sidestep

You do get some freaks like JJ Watt who are 10-12% body fat at 135ish kgs. Mind you, he's 6"5 and much older and more developed.

This kid could settle at about 120 and still be a machine.

Here's the definitive: he was 135kgs at the start of pre-season. He's now 128kgs. He recorded 10% body fat; only the halfback, wing and reserve fullback have a lower percentage. The reserve prop who came on at the end of that game was 150 kegs at the start of the season, down to 142kgs. Jesus that ...

He's from Tonga, seems to be a fan of league and union, but interestingly a fan of both the Wallabies and ABs. Sounds like we could poach him, or maybe should poach him before league does.

I guess people felt certain positions had less depth than 7. I got lucky basically.

Judged on 2014 form and don't need to worry about current small knocks etc.

He's a mini-me compared to other international no 8s. One of the most successful no.8s of the pro-era, Rodney So'olialo, was significantly smaller than LW. Seems like some posters will come up with any excuse to deny Whitelock his place in the squad. Rodney So'olialo is listed at 190 112. So, about...

Surprised Picamoles lasted this long, #8 is the most important position on the pitch in my mind. The world's backrow stocks, including 8, are pretty deep.
