For me it would be Fleetwood Mac - Rumours line up.

A musician mate saw them in Dublin a few years back and said that's the one. Unfortunately the planets have never aligned despite seeing hundreds of live performances.

They are the greatest new wave band of all. Praise doesn't get much better than that. This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around.... Certainly in the top 5 new wave bands, but everything is down to personal taste. Thank fuk I got to see THs live on 3 occasions.....awesome
