Re: The OFFICIAL Conservative leader race thread
Very interesting discussion on Newnight now about UKIP. Which way will they go? (1) The Ex Tory route of lower taxes, smaller government ? (2) The working class route of grabbing ex labour voters, holding corporations to account for tax, keeping the NHS controlled by the state with plenty of public...

There needs to be an anyone but Leadsom campaign. I imagine this means splitting May's MPs with Crabb. None of them have any credentials to lead the Country it would be a disaster tbh, they should stand down if they care at all for the UK. They are deluded if they think the country voted for them a...

Some kiwi who was in Britain for all of 2 minutes had a right to vote... leave. On such an important vote for the future of the country, I don't know why visitor permit carrying kiwis were allowed to have a vote. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=11668044#comment-...

That's the thing. As a contractor I get to leave at COB or near abouts. It's brilliant. What field of work? Finance Banking and Tax legal. Ah, yeah, you should be laughing then. Am hoping there will need to be a lot of tech work to go with it. I believe that world is going to be very rewarding.

I think that, whilst it is not in the EU's interest either to lose the UK, or to see it fail, if, as seems more than likely, the former ship has sailed, then it will act for its own benefit above all. As noted, that doesn't necessarily mean that they will ensure the UK fails, but I can't see the re...

According to Nico, he had the racing line (sort of true), was on the inside (true), and therefore was allowed to "dictate the corner" (not true).
