Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Defending player must get into lower body position to take it out of ref/TMO's hands. Some players are going to struggle with footwork or hip flexibility/speed, and they will eventually be left out of the squad. It just too high a risk.

Re: Ulster vs Feigned Humility Leinster thread
Lowry is a very nice player ball in hand. Quick, intelligent and creative. May warrant a look if Farrell/Catt are genuine in looking to play a heads up game need more decision makers in the backfield. It’s always going to come down to his size unfortunately If France can play Dulin at 15....

Cool that so many "fans" are happy to see players suffer brain damage so they can have have the craic. Re: Ulster vs Feigned Humility Leinster thread
This.
Take such game deciding decisions out of ridiculously inconsistent refs & TMOs (unless it's clear & deliberate foul play), give a yellow and just place offending player on report for later review before disciplinary committee.

Re: Ulster vs Feigned Humility Leinster thread
They need to sort the laws out before people lose interest. Every other game wrecked by a red at the moment. Reds don't ruin games, players need to sort their behaviour out. What galls is the inconsistency, somehow saw mitigation for O'Brien (where there wasn't any) and TMO doesn't chip in, then ch...

Feel Ulster really hard done by that red card. No real force, just pushing off. Would not be surprised if it didn't receive a penalty, but a red?

Or... England had all the momentum as they drew level at 24-24 with 20 mins remaining. Wales held firm by exhibiting the incredible resilience that has characterized the side in the Gatland years, and played smart disciplined rugby to close England out. England's "finishers" were burned off by Wale...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There's a hell of a decision for Farrell to make with regard to bringing Ruddock in or not. I think no, Hendy is class, Beirne is playing his best rugby and Ryan is doing the nuts and bolts very well and getting through a mountain of work. Ruddock isn't at their level. I think a clearer hierarchy o...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
In fairness, the scoreline moves it beyond fluke. Bullshit. England were away and chasing the game in the last 10-15 because of the two jammiest tries you'll see. I don't think either team were particularly good and maybe Wales just about deserved to shade it but I'd be absolutely furious as an Eng...

Liked that performance. Excellent from tight 5 from which the back row took advantage. Italy were soft upfront, and so we quite rightly attacked Rte 1. When there was obvious space out wide, we played to those flanks with pace. Italy were poor and we attacked them where they were poorest Think KIlco...

Our set-piece in on an upward trajectory, and our ruck is much more accurate and so we have a steady supply of possession. We're blunt with the ball (we need more than pick n'go and drive over maul), and remain overly reliant on the decision making at 10 which has been in decline for a while now. W...

Yeah, can't say I agree at all with Dunne there tbh. A lot of the "Leinster are limited" stuff comes from them losing to Sarries twice. Losing to sarries twice opens them up to such criticisms especially when many considered them to be leinsters main competition and leinsters attack look so limited...

Ireland just look clueless going forward, taking the ball static, losing 10m with every phase as they just take it into contract. It's infuriating to watch. Wales still have residual resilience from the Gatland/Edwards years.. and some very good fortune.
Scotland have the makings of a very good side but it'll be feast or famine with Russell and so not sure they will ever reach the consistency in performance they' covet.

It's not enough but Sexton is still incredible in defence. He's not a completely empty jersey but yeah, he's a problem. I think you could ruin Harry if you put him into the current Irish team though. Lots to be positive about in that performance. We showed more ambition than we have in a while, and thought Beirne, VDF and Henshaw were superb. Really don't enjoy watching Sexton anymore. English posters on here are ridiculous. Jones has won last 9 games in a row, coming off a 6N's triumph, an Autumn series win when not at their best, but lose one game with a rusty squad and the excellent Jones must be tossed aside immediately.

Outstanding performance from Scotland. Their ball security at ruck time was as the best I've seen from them, and along with their discipline and some excellent play from 9, they simply put England under constant pressure and never allowed England an entry point into the game. England rarely got on t...

Would like to see Leinster consistently play with a second playmaker at 12. We have the ball players to do it, and we just have more attacking options and width if our ball control game is being checked or disrupted. We'd have the problem of what to do with Henshaw.

Should have added that I bought a well maintained Graco Airless Paint sprayer off craigslist from a retiring professional painter for about 30% of list price. Cant recall what model, but used different nozzles depending on surface.

If you have an enormous area needing paint.. lots of rooms, or large external walls, a paint sprayer is fantastic and an enormous time saver. Early on, it me took a while to get the paint viscosity dialed in on a good water based paint in order that I had a smooth finish but once I had the mix right...

As posters focus on Cruz/Halwey etc, consider the majority of the House GOP that voted to reject the results of democratically held elections and know that they didn't vote that way because they have a deranged notion of their own, narrow political, self-interest. The fact that 66% of House Republic...
