Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

Too many back rows on injury lists. Players I'd hoped to have had a decent run at a few caps/Saxons tours include Clifford, Jones (sadly maybe permanently), Fraser. Even Croft in that list - younger than Haskell, and missed good chunks over the best part of a half a decade (broke his neck in 2012, ...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

If we're going this route I'd have liked to see Ford alongside Wigglesworth, as Wigglesworth at least seems able to pass a ball to his flyhalf which has not always been the case for England 9s. I've never seen Wigglesworth offer much of a running game but at least we'd get the ball shipped competent...

Re: Watch for my brawd's 50th

Over the years I have developed this bizarre natural habit of walking through doors with my left arm and wrist tucked behing my back to prevent my watches knocking on door frames and handles. Can't remember ever consientiously starting it. I've not owned many decent watches but the better ones tend...

Re: OFFICIAL France v England Thread [10-03-2018]

A long-shot, granted, but anyone know anywhere in Helsinki to watch this? I'm even prepared to try an Irish bar, if needs must - can't imagine it's that high on any Finnish landlord's priority list. As it turns out, the Finnish Irish bars all show premiership football but have no idea what rugby is...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

Nick Auterac signs for Quins Hell of a prop logjam there now - Marler, Sinckler, Collier, Boyce and Auterac. Dumb move if he's going for gametime IMO Daft move. He'll be behind Marler and vying with Boyce (highly regarded) for the bench spot. Another wasted career or is he playing the long game? co...

Re: Watch for my brawd's 50th

So, watches...... I only like automatics nowadays. I know, a bit snobbish but I like the idea of a real mechanical machine. Own 2. Frederique Constant slimline dress watch and a Rolex Oyster Perpetual. For me can't beat a Rolex but not into gold. I'm not in that league and don't pretend to be. (are...

Re: Watch for my brawd's 50th

I got this one for my son’s 18th and he loves it. Great build quality weight, everything and just rare enough that people want to have a look at it. I paid 900 quid so slightly fecked off it’s come down in price 😦 http://www.gnomonwatches.com/watches/steinhart-watches/ocean-vintage-gmt The reviews ...

Re: Rate the friendliness of rugby players you randomly met

Joe Maddock made a few appearances in the rugby pubs in Bath, always had time to chat. Didn't see him stump up for a round though, maybe free beers are why he kept appearing. Still, lovely bloke. 10+/10 Carl Fearns f**king huge and a bit mental-looking so I was the rude one doing my best to ignore h...
