It was today 19 years ago that I finally acknowledged that I am an alcoholic, listened to my wife, and contacted the local branch of DanShuKai (断酒会; a totally secular form of AA). Today marks the start of my sobriety, the second best decision of my life.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Problem is for her was being an amazing vocal talent with a group that evolved into the epitome of 80s cheese pop rock.

I heard that the MLB and NFL both have a centralised video review centre, and when a ref calls for a review, totally neutral parties check and give their recommendation. Maybe one of our American posters can confirm this.
