Re: NZ Politics Thread
Had a heated discussion with my National voting mum and brother (if he lived in NZ) the other night. The subtle art is knowing when to take the foot off the accelerator and just laugh darkly, muttering hilarious rather than really lose your shit.

Re: All Blacks 2024
Tbf, Scott Hamilton was a very good player and was seriously underrated by know-nothing North Islanders. It's because he looked like a nerd, like a safe white boy. If he'd played exactly the same way that he did, but had full arm-sleeve tattoos and Kupu Vanisi dreadlocks, he'd have been widely hail...

On the pints, as much as I love a good session on the beers there is something truly wonderful with your self control when you have an enjoyable time with only 3-4 pints. Re: All Blacks 2024
I'll be thrilled if Razor begins to instil into the ABs the kind of rugby intelligence the Crusaders are known for. That, and a 70-75% success rate, would be a very satisfactory 2024 season. Seems like a low win % for the messiah. You southern lot have been talking him for the entirety of the Foste...

Re: I hope Kiwi fans are happy now - take 2
 Yes, it was the refs fault NZ made all those errors. Don't get me wrong. The biggest problem in that final from a Kiwis perspective was NZ not taking available points, not the refs. No, NZ's biggest problem was they played poorly for the most part. Not that they didn't take points or ...

Re: I hope Kiwi fans are happy now - take 2
I was worried about the All UK refereeing crew for the final and heavily bet against the ABs as soon as they got the nod. The game was a crawling disaster, the refs f**ked up and it was a devastating punch in the face for the sport. The one shining light was that I got paid out as expected. The jobs...

He probably will. Like many before him he is saying all the right things at the start of his Japanese sojourn. It's important to be committed to the cause. It’s just a shame the Mo’unga didn’t show the same dedication to the Black jersey. Now that Robertson is Coach you’d think there would be a massive incentive to come back for a go at 2027. I wouldn't be too upset if Beaudy made the AB squad. We are losing a lot of experience and he still goes alright out the back. Solid if not spectacular.

Re: Barnes wants New Zealanders locked up...
NZ never fully adjusted to Barnes but they generally don't go well under officious NH refs period. The bigger problem is not taking straightforward 3s in games of magnitude. Let's hope Razor promotes a more intelligent brand of code. Was Nigel Owens not a NH ref? Yes, but he wasn't officious. SH in...

Aside from the captain's card and five hard points missed off the tee, let's not forget the two very kickable penalties that were spurned in favour of the sideline. In a World Cup final no less.
Let's hope the ABs play smarter rugby under Razor.
