Been a while! Quit after 10 years or so iirc. It became a grind without much sense in the end. I'll have a look at the newer version but I doubt I'll get involved.

Anything nice over the weekend, chaps? I was introduced to two white wines from Slovenia. A "pinot gris" and I forgot what else. The pinot was very good, the other one not so much. And then a (french) white wine at a low price whose reference I need to get back from my friend, that was really top. ...

This is not "speedos only"... swimming boxers are allowed as well and that's what pretty much 95% of the male population is wearing out there. Baggies are the only ones forbidden.

Talking about Bernard Magrez, if you go to Pape Clement they have a boutique where you can actually taste several wines of the Magrez "collection" from around the world. Indeed it will be much faster to get to the Pessac-Leognan châteaux from Arcachon. Aim for the village of Martillac on your GPS to get in the middle of things. The roads around here in Bordeaux are still very busy with lots of people still on holidays enjoying the weather. Driving from Arcachon to t...

I'll recommend the Beyerdynamic series, either the DT990 ones (open headphones) or the DT770 (closed headphones if you prefer that your music does not "leak" or if you don't want to disturb people around you). I use them for music and PC games as well. Good build, extremely comfy and there are plent...
