Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

Back to the original subject of this thread. This from the Guardian suggests the whole conspiracy angle is off. Reporter Shiv Malik has been in Claygate, Surrey, from where he's filed this report: James Matthew, 53, describes himself as Saad al-Hilli's friend and said that he'd come down to Claygate...

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

No they are not. But miscarriages on cases which could, such as in the US, lead to death - I believe they are quite rare. One would need to know the ratio in the US, of the % of inmates on the death row who have been declared innocent (either before or after their sentence). Oh don't open this can ...

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

She's four years old - spent 8hrs hiding behind her murdered mothers legs - you really think she is going to give much of an insight into what happened?
I think you've been whooshed there.

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

It has all the hallmarks of a David Baldacci airport thriller... Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

My guess is that it was a colonial French person who after committing a robbery decided against leaving any witnesses. How is it a "theory" From the dictionary.com Theory: a proposed explanation whose status is still conjectural and subject to experimentation, in contrast to well-established propos...

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

What about the reports of the incident leads you to believe that it was perpetrated by a "colonial French person"?
His own prejudices - but then you knew that already didn't you. The fact the victims were not whites has rather thrown a spanner in his theory though.

Laurent posted this a long time before the identity of the family was made public. Does he have an alibi in place yet?

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

No, no, no. A Frenchman needs to first post a French article in French that references stats from the French Ministry of Justice and is written by a Frenchman, and then an apologist for gun murders posts an article written in Swahili by a man of Paraguayan descent and everyone calls the Frenchman a...

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

When did France turn into Iraq?
Her father, found slumped in the front of the car, was named as Saad Al-Hilli, 50, from Claygate, Surrey. He was born in Baghdad, Iraq.

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

Aye. There's no doubt whoever did this was low on the humanity scale.
Are you not going to post a swedish article about the rise in gun crime in France coming since the rise in immigrants of the abrahamic religions?

Sorry, could not resist.

That's in Marseilles. Years ago.
Marseilles has been rough since the days of Asterix. This was near Annecy.

Re: Five people shot in France, 4 dead

This is a really nasty story. 4 year old girl has been found alive under her mum and grandmother's bodies. Sister beaten and left for dead on roadside but alive. Random cyclist shot as he came upon the scene. When did France turn into Iraq?

Re: The Unusual Maps Thread

That French rugby map is awesome. Reminds me of Asterix in Britain. Wish they could do one for the British Isles clubs.
