A pal of mine lives in New Zealand, he was talking to a fellow sailor who is a neurosurgeon. Apparently my procedure has a very high percentage of success. Here's hoping. It would be nice to be able to walk properly again.

Update: I am booked in for a Lumbar Laminectomy in a couple of weeks. I cannot walk properly now, pain is not a problem, but I would love to be able to walk okay. I was living in Hong Kong when a full blown Typhoon made a direct hit. That was pretty scary. But the big storm that hit SEQ at the end of 2023 was worse.

I feel dirty I just got a Starlink setup for when I’m out bush. Simply no other workable option though. Not the case with Tesla cars. No chance I would buy one now, purely based on how much of a dickhead Musk is. Tesla sales have dived in Germany, apparently. Looks like a Chinese brand for us next....
