Mike Brown must owe Eddie a lot of money and can't [pay it without the match fees. It's the only logical explanation.

Yep, attacking someone with a knife is fully justified if they’re a bit dim and inexperienced, and made a mistake. You’re a twat.Gavin Duffy wrote:I'm with the cyclist on this one.

Thick patty
Cheese
Jalapeños
Burger sauce
Fried egg
Simple, juicy, bit of kick, and you can actually fit it in your mouth.
Grubbs in Brighton do a Malaysian Burger with beef, lettuce, chilli, and peanut butter. It’s surprisingly amazing, if you enjoy a good heart attack.

Eddie has his faults, but I get the distinct feeling that this set of players are just quite thick and don’t have the wherewithal to think their way out of a paper bag.

Re: AP Semi Final: Sarries vs Wasps, AP, 1230ko, Saturday
Well done Sarries, easily the better team on the day but Jesus Christ, JP Doyle was terrible for Wasps. Cost Wasps a perfectly good try and gave Sarries one with a forward pass that Tom Brady would have been proud of, and let their pack pretty much do whatever they wanted at the ruck. Looked like he...

i know shit about music or guitars , but i am watching an amazing doco on the wight island festival at the moment, and having the wealthiest lads in here discussing "Fender vs Gibson" in that perspective is seriously disturbing... i'd rather witness england send a ball on the wing or NZ be onside o...

Re: Fender v Gibson
By far the best two guitars I own are a 1972 Tele and a 1967 Firebird, so Fender vs Gibson isn’t the debate, it needs to get nittier than that. It’s like buying a good chef’s knife, you’ll only know what’s right once it’s in your hand (pedals and effects can make a guitar sound however you want). Le...

Another one i'd love to see is Iggulden's Genghis Khan series. Just adapt it as it was written, the storyline is already so damn good. Wouldn't work. There would be too much outrage if they cast Europeans as the main Mongolians and it wouldn't be a hit in the Western world if the main characters ar...

The 90s, easily. Early 90s when the French were simply unbelievable and then later on when NZ, Aus, and the Saffers were playing each other in some properly outstanding games. It was just before the gym bunny era, when actually being able to play were more important than what you could bench. And Sc...

I’ve broken a good list of bones and other nasty injuries, but by far the most painful was ripping a finger nail out! We had a very nasty hard case prop who would sit quietly in the corner of the changing room clipping his nails down before each game too.
Rugby mittens, that’s the answer.

GSTQ is only played for one verse and lasts A LOT less time than every other anthem. If people find the tune so intolerable it would apply to everyone and would even be booed by all England supporters. But it isn't the tune is it. It is booed because it associated with England. Big Country, Wembley Arena around 1988 maybe.
Took my lad to a Teenage Cancer Trust event - the first band he saw live was Noel Gallagher, Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, with Paul Weller on drums and keyboards. Weller on drums! He's peaked at his first attempt.
