Re: The Frizell yellow card.
I don’t believe it was intentional but players have a duty of care when they go into any contact situation. He came in from the side, had an arm around the neck (I know Barnes saw that differently) and was reckless at best with his cleanout. Clearly a high degree of danger given the consequences (wh...

Re: Boks all-time WC-winning XV
JdV doesn’t enter the conversation despite clearly being our best 12 since readmission. Due to his wretched luck with injuries at world cups he never got to play a meaningful role in any.

Re: World Rugby Awards 2023 - Nominees
Furlong living off past reputation. He’s the glaring lucky pic. Would like to see Saffer opinions on who else should be considered. PSdT played a blinder in the final, Doris crumbled in the biggest match of the year for him. But played a very high standard throughout the year. Edit: PSdT up against...

Tough luck Kiwis. Watched it in a bar full of NZers and they were generally incredibly gracious. Hate to see that amount of controversy. Boks seemed to freeze when they had the opportunity to kill the game and the ABs were immense in the 2nd half.

Every time someone mentions the Boks then Bungle says that we only ever had easy draws at the WC etc etc. He is obsessed with it. He seems to get massive bites every time though you must admit. ;) I for one, enjoy it. 😂 Comments about the extraordinary tediousness of his narrative constitute “massi...

Re: Eben Etzebeth coming to form.
Matfield should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Etzebeth. The former was good at lineouts, period. No ball skills, no grunt and in his last world cup was a passenger who ambled around after the ball missing tackles. Etzebeth is both Bakkies and Matfield in one plus more. Matfield was indee...

Re: Stormers 2024
I’d like to see Dan du Plessis pushing for a Bok spot next year. Thought he was close to the Stormers’ best player last season. Dan would have been handy in the current Bok setup, playing 12 or 13. Dobson are in for exciting times with the amount of talent he scouted. He got the best talent from th...

Interested in seeing Stassen back from his ban. He was a beast at the Bulls but I have to assume that was largely because of the doping.

It’s like they gave up with current players half way through and then half arsed it…
Dan Vickerman
Clyde Rathbone
Matt Stevens
Pieter de Villiers
Are obvious shouts if you’re gonna go back as far as Mehrtens.

Tbh I haven’t seen the Irish that rattled in a while. They were dominated at the rucks for large parts of that match. Boks one of the few sides to rattle them. Them and Samoa 8) The physicality was too much. On another day SA do win with a fly half like Ford or Sexton behind them. Tragedy to have a...

And still there are those who doubt that it is Sards. Read a single music post of Greenavenger’s and you instantly know it’s not the idiot Sards. I don't follow the music thread. Read the post quoted post above. It is 100% a Sards comment. It is 100% not sards. This whole thing is tedious.

Namibia has been playing in the Currie Cup 2nd div for years. Their rep schools team plays in Craven Week and many of their players would have been educated in SA. Their top schools regularly feature in South African rugby festivals too.
