WTF? Slapping the ball out the ruck and before that, falling over on the wrong side and blocking the ball coming back.

Best attacking display in the first half under Borthwick.
Sinckler can't be the backup, he's got to go. Post world cup we'll need a whole new front row and replacement front row.
Care did every well when he came on.
Lawes and Earl were magnificent. Itoje had a good game.

Re: QF 3: England vs Fiji: A Half Arsed Fred
First half was the best attacking rugby we've played under Borthwick. Low bar and all that but it showed some improvement.
Farrell was good, Earl and Lawes superb. Best have from Manu for a while.
Big questions over Mitchell, Genge, Sinckler.

Re: Did Ireland Choke their QF match again?
Ireland were the better side but lost their way against the AB defence. Once they started throwing long mis passes and taking it into contact individually, you saw the patience and decision making had run out. A lot of that is on Sexton - he spent a period of time taking the ball still and just ship...

Re: NZ v Ireland RWC Quarter Final Thread..
Yer man getting held up by Jordie was the key moment.
Ireland lost their way for about 10 mins in the 2nd half and it cost the game. Chip kicks, wide wide moves and conceding off first phase. That loss of control for such a short period was immense.

Shit backline, being opened up and run around whenever they want.
Thick forwards getting penalised constantly.
Great combination.

This is basically England's first XV. At home. Playing the Welsh binjuice. Where they've dominated territory and possession. And 8 phases is the most they've put together. 6-0. I'd be f**king livid if I was English. Sadly, the days of being angry about it have gone. It's more of a sad acceptance of...

You could argue that that means they want to play more.
Also argue that means they stick to the 'game plan' as rigidly as possible so not too get dropped. Obv, that means coaching or game plan is shit.

I asked the same question. Why do players get significantly worse at international level? As mentioned, we complete in Europe mostly well enough, with mostly English players. Wider problem is the game is dying in England (and across Wales and Scotland tbf) and the England team is most people's introduction to the sport. We are so shit. Cue Borthwick talking about lack of time together and so on but the truth is players get worse when playing for him.
Genge getting battered at scrum time, the lack of fundamentals across the team, a complete lack of structure.
