A player is allowed to stand his ground. No he is not. Law 10.1 on Obstruction says in three places "A player must not intentionally move or stand ..." so as to obstruct (my emphasis). You may find that that law is there to cater for the scenario where a defender is moving across the field in a bon...

Hi, I'm trying to understand if this tackle transgresses law 10.4e (dangerous tackle) and whether a penalty, card or citing should have taken place.
