A player is allowed to stand his ground. No he is not. Law 10.1 on Obstruction says in three places "A player must not intentionally move or stand ..." so as to obstruct (my emphasis). Hi, I'm trying to understand if this tackle transgresses law 10.4e (dangerous tackle) and whether a penalty, card or citing should have taken place.
