Re: Has anyone heard from Globus?
These kind of threads really expose the c*nts on this forum. I hope Globus is well and safe and I hope he returns to PR. He's a character, but a harmless one, and dare I say, a likeable one. Just a bit eccentric it would seem. If you're reading this Globus, all the best wishes mate. Stay safe and t...

These pricks are posturing for a fight and we should give them one. We can sell our resources to somebody who isn't a bellend later. Yes it will hurt but the recent behaviour indicates they have plenty to hide. Tariffs on 20% there crap starting tomorrow unless they back down I think we are past the...

There's a debate to be had about whether that's because it wouldn't have been useful to alleviate some pressure on hospitals or whether they simply couldn't staff the Nightingale adequately to make it safe to really use. Yes and no. We'd gone as far as gathering the volunteer lists for those who wo...

Re: Who won WWII - How nations view who ultimately won it
Oil was the key and Germany never had enough. Even with a friendly Russia Germany would have run out of fuel and not be able to fight effectively. So in many ways the UK won the war either via the blockade or by taking the fight into its third year and the Germans into a position where a lack of sup...

My father was based in Swansea at the time with the barrage balloons, and he and the rest of the men spent most of bombing raids breaking into peoples houses to get in the attics and getting rid of the incendiary bombs before the houses were burnt down. He later transferred to Bomber command after ...

Being told off for pouring cold coffee down the bog rather than carry the cup downstairs and risk spilling it. My defence ‘it’s ok for shit, piss, and puke, so why not coffee?’ falls on deaf ears. Ultimately all virus stas should only be recorded if they can be proven to be above above normal death rates unfortunately for our score watching public this can't be done live. lets get critical on this next year when we can actually analyze what happened and what climate the virus thrives in.
