It's waist and below. Where do you think the waist starts? Hint: it's higher than you think.

Re: RFU: Waist high tackling ONLY in the community game
There's a bit of a pattern in Rugby circles around change. With most of it being unfounded. Not too long ago people were upset about the introduction of the 50/22. Claiming it was an attempt to make Rugby more like League. Now you'd find few who would argue that it hasn't added to the game. As I ten...

This is not rugby union. Might turn out to be a wonderful, amazing sport. But it ain't ruggers What the fudge are you talking about? It's a sad tale - but talented kids with poor impulse control have been protected too many times before :(( +1 Starts at a relatively young age as well. A sad end to a great talent if true. I always got the the impression his mates in the Wallabies put the arms around him to put him on the right path. Looked after him in interviews when he got out of his depth, for example. Never seemed comfortable in that situation. No excuses for him if this is p...

If a large European county like Germany or Spain were as good as Georgia at rugby, they'd be straight in to an expanded tournament - their commercial markets would be too attractive to ignore and have top class, close, cities for a weekend away. Netherlands upset Portugal in the European U20 championship semi. Huge upset and huge sign of progress in Dutch rugby as Portugal is pretty good at the U20 level. It's part of the rebuilding process you have to get the game plan going first before you starting looking at the little mistakes. This is the time now. At least now you can see some shape both in attack and defense. Now it's fine tuning. We've been rebuilding for 15 years now. It seems longer I was...

We do have consistency. We lack the mental toughness and urgency to grind out the tough situation. Oh, and our discipline is shithouse.Which has been a theme of the Wallabies for years. It's naive to think the pinnacle is always State Of Origin. I just tried watching more Rugby Wheelchair - it's horrible. From an Australian perspective it definitely is. And that's supported by both interest surrounding it and TV ratings. The last RLWC was held here and didn't come close.
