Re: Aviva Premiership final: Sarries v Saints. Spivs welcome

Done. Done. Done. fudge sake. I cannot stand the smug wanker saints. Arseholes.

But they've deserved it. Always felt if Sarries lost last week & Saints won the Amlin they'd have that extra push. So it is. The lack of cutting edge has been an absolute nonsense though.

Game over. One team's taken it's chances in the red zone. The other hasn't.

True fact.

Don't have anyone in the team who can do anything like Giteau to break down a solid defence. But it's been like that for yonks.

Toulon are playing Sarries at their own game. Suck up the pressure, turn the ball over, rinse & repeat.

Re: The Final HEC Final - Official Match Thread

My sources* tell me the Sarries club coaches have caught loads of traffic. Taken at least one of them 6 hours to get from Hatfield to 10 miles short of Cardiff :uhoh: *Saracens facebook page I thought both teams would stay in a hotel in the host city the night before the final. Pretty poor planning...

Re: ERC final. Any neutrals care enough to watch it?

Surely someone else's fans should be generous enough to start a match thread? After all we're quit busy having to go to the final. On a more serious note, imagine we'll bring about 8-10k to this, and 25k to HQ next week. 20 years ago we were playing on a public park in front of 400 people. I'll tak...

Atmosphere was certainly one of the better ones at AP this season, imho. Quins supporters going through their large repertoire of songs, Sarries going through their smaller range. Ashton trying to put Evans off was a wit kant trick, but did enjoy him chirping the Quins supporters when they starting...

Re: Saracens vs Quins

Think De Kock is still around next season, but with Spencer turning 22 this year I imagine he'll start to expect to see some proper game time, especially as he's already demonstrated he's more than up to it. I thought de Kock was retiring this summer? He was interviewed a couple of weeks back and s...

I'd hope so too, as he's already a very good player with real potential. I just find it hard to believe that a player can sustain *so* many injuries at this stage of his career and be able to push on.

Spencer has such a sweet boot. Box-kicks are bang on. I'd really like him to get more time in the AP XV. He's bloody ace. NDK is retiring at the end of this season AFAIK, word is that we're buying a Championship scrum-half with a view to have Spencer fighting with Wigglesworth for a start next seas...
