Re: Scarlets-La Rochelle/Clermont-Racing discussion thread

The winner of this never mattered anyways. They'd be playing Leinster or Saracens in the semi-final next and they were both the rookie noobs of the ko stages of the Cup, and seeing how they both play, jittery inconsistent approximate attacking Rugby, they were in for a good lesson giving by the next...

O'wens on the whistle Bye Toulon He's been Du Owens the last few times hes reffed French Irish games. Maybe D'owens is a fair compromise. More seriously, I think he's just a homer now. Look. My prediction is Leinster win this anyways. Can't see them losing at home. I can see Saracens losing the plot and losing by two possessions, but I'd predict a closer outcome, sth like Leinster by 6. At worst for Leinster, I imagine this match will look sth like the second Clermont-Saracens pool matc...

in not shit news, Retière was very impressive again today. Boughanmi is one heck of a TH already. He's a monster carrying the ball, he fetches at the bdown with very strong positioning, tackles like hell and gives it his all, and then he can really fk up a scrum for you, he's figured out how to mana...

Woeful. Abysmal. Not having a kicker was just one factor that cost the match in Wales and (allegedly by some) led to the HIA controversy earlier in the 6 Nations.
