Re: Official England Squad Announcement Thread - Ashton gone

If the England supporters on this bored had there way we'd be fielding almost an entirely different team each year, if not each game. Remember all the clamour to get 12T into the side - now he's almost treated as the bogey man. Wade, Ford and Rodo are flavour of the month but they'll soon be pillori...

Re: Official England Squad Announcement Thread - Ashton gone

How many tries have the Respective English wingers scored per game? Ashton must be worth a spot Unfortunately, that rounds out to zero so we prefer to work in tries per season. On that metric, some of them get as high as 1. Our wingers 1st duty isn't to score tries. They are there to defend and to ...

The Haka is just a tourist attraction really. The opposing team should all take their cameras out with them and take photos. Really, really bright flashbulbs might even things up a bit.

I don't know much about this. I sleep pretty well most times unless I've got a presentation/training session to do the next day. I re run it through my mind so many times. There was an article a long while ago, which seemed to say the right things. The bed is to sleep on (inter alia) but reading in...

One of the good things, so far, about Lancaster's regime; is that players seem to play better for England than their club form would suggest. Morgan and Burns being prime examples. It really isn't sensible to keep chopping and changing the side every time a player's club form takes dip or another ha...

Re: How much sleep do you get a night?

I have terrible difficulty getting to sleep. Most nights I don't bother going to bed until 3am (and still can't sleep). If I go to bed earlier I either can't sleep or I'll sleep for an hour and then remain awake for the rest of the night. Luckily I can then sleep in/go back to bed - often until midd...

He appears to hold the opinion that Clarke will shortly be deposed. Not sure where he gets that from, but should he indeed go, then Flower, Moores and Downton would also be shorn of that influence. I think he's said that they should be, and that's also what would need to happen for a recall to be e...

Jonny Depp is definitely overrated; had a few good films in the 90s and since then has reverted to playing stereotypes of himself. Pacino is better than de Niro in my book. Don't think DiCaprio is overrated, but he does go for the epic films and grand characters all the time; would be good to chang...
