Not one person has to use google - everyone chooses to. Yet there are so many complaints about google's (real, imagined or misunderstood) use of their data. If you don't use google you have nothing to worry about. But as it's such as vastly better product than its competitors, people want to use it...

They aren't selling anything to do with your identity . There's no logic in claims that there is any breach in privacy in data that does not include any details about the person.
