The game can:

a) be entertaining
b) have integrity as a physical contest
c) be safe and appropriate for 2020 sensibilities

You get to pick two - all three are not possible.

This to me is the elephant in the room that we have not confronted in the last decade. It's not 1956 anymore.

Tarantino films are a complete blind spot for me, it's like I have film dyslexia. Haven't seen a single one where I haven't been completely bored and confused 5 minutes in. Every kiwi would have picked this but very early on in the 2003 semi v Australia, it was very obvious that we were in big trouble. As much as we were outplayed in 2019, I still thought "two late intercept tries and we've got this". Didn't necessarily think we would win, but I least thought the we co...

Put me in the camp for the Sinckler injury being a decisive factor in the final. South Africa won that game because of the accumulated scrum penalties that Pollard kicked midway through the second half. The final two tries made it look one sided, but 60 mins into that game it was a dog fight that wa...

Hockey uses "eliminate" when an attacking player passes a defender "eliminating" the defender from the attacking move. ...

2017 to 2019 All Blacks were probably the worst team you had under Henry/Hansen. 04 and 08/09 were rebuilding phases, 17 to 19 should have been a team peaking for the WC, but you bumbled the Lions series, lost to Ireland a couple of times and shat the bed against an England team that had your numbe...
