We have to accept that we don’t know what we’re talking about. The people who make up the expert committees are all experts in the field - they know a lot more about this than we do. Re: "No dickheads" policy for England ?
I like Marler and the game needs characters like him. A proper no-dickheads policy in rugby would see the likes of Biggar, Sexton, Hogg, AWJ, Farrell etc getting called ashore for annoying the fvck out of referees (and TV audiences), with players like Genge and Liam Williams getting called out for ...

Several English posters claimed a head butt, so it must have been. ;) No doubt it was high but as Parkes was pretty much travelling backwards the impact wasn’t huge, he also wraps both arms. Re: Courtney Lawes cited
I just can’t take head butt claim seriously, Jeff. It’s a high tackle and possibly a yellow but no intent and arms involved.
Manu was duly punished for contact to the head with a shoulder charge - no attempt to wrap. We’ll see about Lawes. Both probably illegal regardless of where contact was made.

Since pro rugby started i’m willing to bet that in the 6Ns Ireland never finished below 3rd. We’ll have more 2nd and 1st places than 3 places. Wales on the other hand have frequently propped up the table, with quite a few 2nd last places and 1 wooden spoon.  ‘Since pro rugby started’...
