Re: OFFICIAL - worst start to Lions tour in more than a cent

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself Naki, keep fighting the good fight  What a shame we don't have an invitational side from Arg, SA, NZ & Aus with the same prep time and schedule coming up here to play our top tier sides and England. I posted a SANZAAR squad a couple of weeks ag...

Re: Tower Block fire in London?

Rumours it was a discarded cigarette from an upper floor landing in washing on a balcony lower down. Shocking incident. Doubt it'll be covered by corporate manslaughter, public opinion will be excoriating. unlawful and dangerous act manslaughter if they decide to prosecute an individual- which I do...

Embarrassing. Unmanly. And not in the spirit of the game. it was in reaction to the reffing of the scrums last sat!!! Gosh, you've got your conspiracy hat screwed on tight already. Re: Dan Cole.

He was terrible for the Lions in '13 as well. I think some lads - he and Best being obvious examples - just struggle mentally when they're out of their comfort zone. Spot on. He gets by with bluff. His legs have gone. Every LH prop in the Premiership knows it. And he does little around the park - o...

Re: OFFICIAL Highlanders vs British & Irish Lions MATCH THRE

At least we know who the dirt trackers are, and they are mostly Welsh. One eyed bollocks Completely true.... There were only three welsh starters tonight for this midweek dirge. Biggar and Webb done great. Warburton, I know you guys will disagree, but did a tremendous amount of work to make up for ...

Re: Angus Gardner

Expect this sort of bias in the First Test!!!!! I've been saying it for years. SH refs will favour SH sides against the Brits. Very little consistency actually and every 50/50 went against us.

BUT we were POOR tonight. A very average side played poorly in reality.

Re: OFFICIAL Highlanders vs British & Irish Lions MATCH THRE

Most of tonight was crap. Webb and Biggar and Warburton positives. The rest can prepare for next Tuesday. Cole?? His legs have GONE. Can't scrummage and survives by bluster. Payne/Seymour/Nowell part of a shockingly bad back line outside Biggar. JJ average. Henshaw showed nothing!! Really disappoint...

Is it just me but this BIL side look like a side who know, by and large, that theyre not in the Test team which will be Saturdays team v Maoris and 1st test. A few look dejected and/or flat. Disappointing.

Re: OFFICIAL Highlanders vs British & Irish Lions MATCH THRE

Good game but the Lions will lose this by not holding on to the pill. Really poor basics with special shout outs to Payne and Seymour. Spot on. These two are having shockers. Nowell too is lacking in winger pace. JJ poor in defence but had an easy run-in after Biggar's dummy. Webbs kicking again is...

Re: Captain Warbs

Okay, I'll bite: Ah come on now, both Tipuric and SOB are better flankers than Warburton. Either of them should be at openside. So technically Warbs should be fighting for the blindside position. On top of that he isn't really fit. If Stander was fully fit he'd be the shoe-in, but he's clearly knac...

I see Warbs playing a similar role to POM from an Irish pov. Just a nasty bastard to play against as he gets everywhere slows everything down and just pisses the opposition off generally. I see a back row of SOB Toby and Warbs. Worried a little about our front row in the first Test tho. It'll be re...

May is not going. She might be forced out at some stage but she apparently is hanging on. She was f**king useless these last 6 weeks. She can never again be allowed to front a campaign. Re: Nick Evans on the Lions.

He was spot on about the Lions not drawing the man when passing to create overlaps. Halfpenny nearly ruined the try last Wed after passing too soon - leaving the winger to do too much. We butchered 3/4 overlaps last Saturday v the BLues. It's elementary and something we could do naturally at 11 - wi...
