Re: First time fatty; need help losing weight

I started skipping dinners or at least not eating anything after 5. I don't know how healthy that is, but I lost two stone in a couple of months. Big thing I cut out was soda drinks - fairly sure I was addicted to Coke. Smaller portions for breakfast and lunch too. Simple when you think about it. O...

I will never forget that day. From memory it was a grey day in Hong Kong, I drove down to Central to pick up the paper, had a look at the front page, and burst into tears. As an aside, is the Spectator the same as it is in Australia? A faux news site that frames opinions from right wing loons as fact? The original Speccy was a great read. Especially Jeffrey Bernard, when he was well enough. The Australian version has always been shite. I tried it, and spewed it out.

He'll need to keep his head down when he runs with the ball. I reckon there would be a few old hard heads, and some young bucks, who will enjoy trying to knock it off his neck.

If he has an ounce of self-respect, he will refuse match payments, no matter which level he ends up at.

Is 'polynesian' a racist term now? I missed that memo if so. No it's not. But referring to someone's ethnicity or skin colour in the context of insulting them is still probably a bit racist. Agree with Towny about Valetini. What sealed it for me was the (legal) collision with Harry Wilson, which took Wilson off the field, and had no noticeable effect on Valetini.
