Re: Quality urban myths

Isn't the Buck Shelford ball-bag stitching incident an urban myth? I've seen it oft repeated, and have told people about it myself, but having looked into a while back, Shelford says he has no memory of it (or any of the game to be fair), and there appears to be no video evidence of it from the gam...

Re: New roofs.

Well, I've just been to see my local estate agent. He said that a new roof (even with a loft room added for storage) adds no value onto the house price. He said that a full-on loft conversion costing £30K would be recouped upon sale of the house - but no more than that. His advice was that "the who...

Bring back Pacman.

All these violent games are having a dertimental effect on our children and society in general. Kids need to get outside and not stay inside all day playing these braindead games. Parents need to set the example. Put your ipads away in the evenings and engage with your children.

btw if you are completely replacing a roof (even like for like) you WILL need variously Listed Building Consent, Planning Consent and/or building regulation consent (dependant upon planning staus of your property). The contractor should be well versed with this. If they are not, do not use them.

I remember watching that at the itme. I recall some guy running from the stand onto the pitch completely on fire. It was horrific.

The amount of fires associated with the former owner is interesting but entirely circumstantial.

Is there a study comparing the autism rates of vaccinated vs. non-vaccinated children? This would end the debate. We could finally see if vaccines are or are not the cause.
