Re: Lions 2013 - Disaster waiting to happen?
No Welsh, they don't have any belief they can beat the Aussies. It's all just about confidence so just send Scots, English and Irish and we might win 3 nil. sounds good to me. unlike you English though I'll still support the Lions if none of my countrey's players are there. Unless you're ...

Re: Lions 2013 - Disaster waiting to happen?
Warburton's so out of form at the moment he wouldn't/shouldn't make the team, the Scottish lad Rennie would be 1st choice with either Robshaw or Tipuric on standby. He's not that out of form. Been unlucky with injuries since the world cup but he was excellent when he played in the six nations and d...

I think on current form it would be hard to leave him out, he's had a great season at both club and international level.blindcider wrote:I don't think Robshaw will tour - He's not a true 7 and Croft/Ferris/Lydiate are better suited 6's to Australia

Re: Lions 2013 - Disaster waiting to happen?
I think the Ringlish will have a lot more representatives after the next 6 nations is over, and Ireland a lot less. Disagree about the Irish part. We have about 10-12 players who are Lions class at this point and Id reckon most of them are tour locks Healy,Best,Ross,POC,Ferris,SOB,Heaslip,Sexton,Bo...

I'd give Clart a run out against Italy to see how he does. He is invaluable at the line out.

Assuming everybody's fit I'd go with the exact same team, move Ryan Jones into the second row to replace Davies (I'm going to just assume he gets a lengthy ban) and have Lydiate at 6.

Re: The filum thread 2.0
Watched American History X again the other day. Forgot how good that film is, really superb stuff. I recommend it highly to anybody who hasn't seen it. That's the Ed Norton one? Good movie. Yeah that's the one. The one about the White Supremacist gang. Norton is really good in it as well, great act...

Curve takes a dramatic turn upwards.
That backline is very sharp. And no James Hook! Rejoice!

Re: Argentina’s first win?
They'll win one at home this year. Either Australia or the Boks. It'll be a few years before they sneak a win on the road though.
I see Argentina being to the RC what Italy are to the 6 Nations. A challenge for anybody at home and plucky underdogs on the road.

Re: The Official Welsh Rugby Thread
Is it only me that thinks that it's not the best idea to keep a well known nervous-nelly in Hook on, uh, tenterhooks by waiting to see if Priestland is OK? Surely if we wanted to imbue him with some confidence, we should have just said 'Look, Priestland's out, we're going with Hook'. But Hook's shi...
