Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

According to my calculations (yes I am bored) 29.8k tickets sold for the Toulouse game.

Must be 30k plus as that does not include standing.

In similar vein, when we have my sons' pals from Edinburgh up to our place in Perthshire most describe in 'best weekend of my life' type terms. All they do is chop wood, climb trees, ride the horses, bugger around in the woods, cycle, have bonfires, etc but it is so far away from city life they reve...

Maybe Willie could answer a question - when the fudge exactly is lambing season? I'm seeing loads of lambs about at the moment but I'm pretty sure it was much later in the year when I saw them last year. We've lambs on the ground and out already.. If your after a nice floury dry spud you can't go far wrong with Arran Victory. Great bluey purplish skin that they burst right out of when they're boiled!! My son has only just turned 12 so that'll be why he's not had a letter. That and not being good enough. Plenty time for him yet, Weegie. Another couple of assaults and he'll be a shoe-in. Or even a shoo in. This is what I don't get. He breaks opposition front rows, he loves the tight stuff and smas...

Connacht have missed on penalty, Edinburgh have missed 3 and 2 conversions.

Hunter missed one from in front, WCP apparently also knocked on 5m from an open try line. Sounds like Edinburgh are doing their best to give this away.

The maul is by far the better tool for splitting logs. Axes will get stuck in the wood, and if you've hit it hard enough will be a bugger to get out. Mauls don't get stuck as if you've driven them in far enough to jam an axe, the maul will have split the log. Whilst they work better with an edge, th...
