Hybrids aren't actually that environmentally friendly - people would be better served either getting a fully electric car or getting a reasonably sized car instead of huge SUVs that only ever have 1 passenger

A good piece on last nights episode from Forbes. There are obstacles to it definitely, but a lot of them are political. I don't think it should be dismissed out of hand the way it currently is, and it's very clean energy. There may also be finite reserves, but there isn't a shortage. What's the breakdown the 14GW in terms of how it's generated as...

In terms of Lions chances- We've shown we can break their defence down and score tries. We've shown moments of domination. If they're to win, the Lions need to play like they've done in glimpes for 80 mins- no relenting, no penalties, perfect rugby. It literally needs to be the perfect game- and th...

Duff Paddy, you're absolutely right - there is no problem at all, and all the people struggling to buy a home are spoiled children who waste all their money on alcohol and other frivolities.

Re: My banning - clearing things up

No, I'm thinking about how you render the numbers - having a "6" means it isn't base 6 (unless you are prepared to redefine 6). Having a set of 6 possible outcomes just means you have a restricted set of outcomes. The context was that the "die in a die" was said to produce two digits in the range 1...

Re: My banning - clearing things up

Base 10 uses the digits 0-9, base 7 would use 0-6, base 6 would use 0-5. A 6 sided dice could have this latter numbering system (and so be base 6), but the picture shows one face with 6 dots which would suggest base 7. Incidentally, on closer inspection, where are the numbers on the outer die? you ...

It's an option. Not a good one, as supported by the evidence of Itoje's 6N exploits at 6.
