I could definitely believe that they're both under the cap. Bath haven't been prolific since they got their slap on the wrist, and Bris only have a couple of big names (and Madigan's lucky if he's getting minimum wage)

Re: Saracens punished -35 points and £5m

If I recall correctly, Saracens don't deal with agents right? Only directly to the player? Lot easier to hide all of this if that's the case. That's because agents take a percentage of the fee paid to the player, so if the player is getting 'paid' peanuts and getting a massive 'investment' instead ...

Well some chickens came gome to roost - Youngs oscilated to being shit again, Daly failed at FB, Billy is out of form, we didnt get away with Makos average scrummaging and Cole was an empty shirt. The scrum was a disaster and took us out of the game. Avoiding the set piece ment we never really got ...

Pleased with that from Saints. We still look a bit naive and trigger-happy sometimes, and I'm not sure our exit strategy is up to much (I think that's the third time I've seen a cross-field kick in our 22 in three games) but it looks like it should be an enjoyable season to watch. 102 points scored ...
