Pretty harsh on Reihana. He's barely played. I thought he was looking good in the first game before he was injured. For me he's certainly the player with the most potential out of him, Kemara, Burke and Hohepa.

Re: Israel declares state of war
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4SnfGyl-KE An interesting attempt to examine Hamas, their objectives and strategy. I don’t think these people are brilliant analysts (they aren't stupid), but remarkably few people seem to be doing this. Of course the Israeli retribution was anticipated , pretty sur...

Re: NZ Politics Thread
I think rather it’s a lack of genuine vision than a lack of capacity.
The ideology isn’t deep it’s mere words for effect .
And it’s from both sides .
The status quo isn’t nearly good enough but it seems that’s all that our political leaders seem able aim for let alone achieve .

Re: NZ Politics Thread
Surely personality is reflected and intertwined in both politics and leadership style. Can't help but feel the biggest barriers to the success of the last government, this government and our country as a whole is the lack of talent and ability on each side of the political divide. Kick the minor pa...

Re: NZ Politics Thread
Well, during the Ardern era, we often heard Booji's dislike of Ardern on this thread, seemingly due to her personality rather than anything else. Ahem ... nothing to do with her personality. I have nothing against her personality wise. She seems a nice person. Her politics and leadership style is w...

I note that the V8s are not being raced in a National Park or amongst kids at a playcentre. Cannot believe this thread is still going - they were racing in a marine sanctuary. All the teenagers and woke plums. Basically all the sheep that go to see her because others are or it's cool. It's all hype. And I didn't say she wasn't talented but Sheeran is a far more talented musician. How did she get the teenagers to follow her? She’s the biggest act since the Beatles - there...

Only his lineout throwing is a weakness , certainly not scrummaging.
And that quite frankly has often been the fault of his jumpers as well .
Heck of a prospect .

Very well ! He wasn’t the reason his team lost . I think Sotutu has been a stand out myself . And I reckon Razor will pick him allowing him to shine at international level finally . Went to watch an "A" international between Ireland and NZ mostly to see McKenzie. He's obscenely talented, I don't understand how he doesn't start ahead of everybody else for the ABs. Parochialism. Bollocks . It’s obvious that he’ll now be first pick . But better than Mounga ? Don’t make me laugh .

I’d have never have rated him value wise - but you have to appreciate competence, even if you don’t agree with the decision. In what way was Key competent? He could think on his feet !
