Re: Official NFL 2019
It’s bizarre that they didn’t, Marrone was signalling no catch immediately on the sideline, makes no sense that he wouldn’t challenge.

Re: Official NFL 2019
He didn’t handle that situation well but I think he’s sick of shitty coaching and losing. The Jaguars are an absolute dumpster fire and the front office just makes continual poor decisions. I think he would have signed a deal if they’d given him one in the off season but for some reason they want to...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
I’ve been meaning to get some tests done. I’m always tired and my gym progress is quite slow. I have a bizarrely low resting heart rate too, so wondering if it might be thyroid related. US healthcare is great if your insurance will cover what you need

It’s a joke, I pay just under $100 per month for basic cable and a half decent internet connection. I’d happily drop the tv but then the internet price would almost double because I’d lose my ‘bundle discount’

Footage from the Bahamas looks horrific. The eye should be going past us in NE Florida in the next couple of hours, about 100 miles offshore. Just a blustery day here really, I don’t think the wind has even got high enough to shut down bridges.

Speaking of farmers carries, I’d love to try some strongman type training for conditioning. Some of it looks like a lot of fun and I absolutely hate most traditional cardio.

50km run? :uhoh: :uhoh: Lunatic. Fair play. Heavy DLs and back this morning. Meant to do sets of 5, 3, and 1, but can't count and did 4,3,1. Was suffering and lost count after 3. 180x4, 190x3, 200x1 That set at 190 was disgusting. Shit form and felt generally awful. Couldn't sort my posture out at ...

I don’t have any supporting info, but BCAA’s seem to be the most debunked supplement of the past few years. Consensus seems to be that they may make 0.001% type difference. I only really take whey protein these days, and only if I can’t get enough protein in via regular food. Probably have a shake a...

For some dreadful reason they paired him with Robin Ince, that and they plop in a comedian with each panel of experts guests. Totally ruins what could be a great podcast.
