Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
Would you not incentivise it with the EQP rules being stringent and the marquee players being the top 3% worldwide, or something along the lines of being a massive improvement (and being able to prove it from stats, international caps etc.) that they are a big signing? But why would a marquee quali...

Kickers win matches, Farrell is nailed on until someone else proves they can match his percentage off the tee. I doubt his ability to really add more to his attacking game, he really lacks the athleticism to challenge the better defences and he has improved at playmaking he is still very much inferi...

Good squad that
I'd love to know what the coaches see in Will Evans that they don't in Matt Kvesic.
Very happy to see Mike Haley and Dan Robson in there, they could solve some longer term problems in our squad

Big names to miss the squad? There's loads of competition at flyhalf now and unless Sexton can rediscover his best he could well miss out which would have been unthinkable not too long ago. Biggar could miss out as well, he is the weakest bar Farrell with the ball in hand. Presumably you only take 2...

Eastmond to Sale confirmed... Thank f u ck for that, the thought of him at Wasps makes me queasy. I didn't realise he's only 26! Shows how young he was when he broke through into RL. Its time to accept Sale are essentially a feeder club for Wasps  . Good signing though, I hope he finds his...

Admirable loyalty. May hurt him in the long run though. The likes of Mallinder and Marchant (who had similar levels of prem gametime this season) will be playing/starting for premiership clubs next season I think its a good decision from him and indeed Brophy-Clews. Wishful thinking but having achieved his objective, perhaps Farage will retire. And UKIP will cease to exist. That's actually an interesting point - UKIP surely have no reason to continue? If they disband then it might bolster the tories, which isn't a great thought, but it also means that the furt...

Massive opportunity for Harrison to press his claim and establish himself as next in line, he should hopefully bring some extra aggression and punch to our carrying game. If its just a 'new coach effect' lets fire and hire a new coach every year. Can't argue with that logic. Could be a dead cat bounce under Eddie, I guess the real test will be how he reacts when we lose some games, will he lose the plot and implode / alienate players as he had (allegedly) done befor...
