Re: Mungoball's Global Contraction III - Revenge of the Mungoes

IMHO it all depends if you care who wins. If you are not interested in the result most organised sport is boring. League has a big advantage because of the amount of wagering that takes place, nothing like winning or losing money to create interest.

Places like Jamaica, Serbia and the Pacific Islands spring to mind. France now has two pro teams. It's a stretch to say it is contracting. Is it actually played in Jamaica and Serbia? Or is it expats like Lebanon? I think it is. Or was. If you really want to know, League Unlimited is worth a look.

England's new props didn't let anyone down. Good effort. We had no tight head props in the 23 except some bloke they picked up at a park game during the week, and we managed to dismantle your scrum on one occasion. I wouldn’t be patting yourself on the back about the scrum work or front row just ye...

Given Arnold and Skelton's reputation in the NH DR would have been remiss not to give them an outing. It's going to be a tough match. Scotland are a much improved team and we struggled against them previous times. I hope our guys won't be complacent. For sure. But wtf is Tupou still on the bench? Must be close to best tighthead in the world. Weird. Tupou and Skelton will cause mayhem in the last 30.

Huge pack. Decent looking backline on paper. Good to see Perese in there as well. I'd like to see Latu in there as well. Too much of a risk when it comes to lineout calls etc. Two new locks and a new hooker (albeit with one of the locks on the bench), too much to learn and rehearse, too little time...
