Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 - OFFICIAL Thread
Roy's wicket fell just after I went to bed... woke up a while back and read about the result in awe  Give up the whinging dudes. It's a fitting result for the two best teams in the tournament who play a contrasting style and very competitively, but overall in good spirit. It would be nice if t...

Sometimes you get, sometimes not ...
It's going to be a long day hopefully.
Getting late here so only watching a few overs.
Archer did an absolute number on CdG.
Plunkett was very good.
Felt sorry for Taylor (if last game) and Latham (not getting a 50)...

Rennie is rate for time in Scotland - mainly by ascot Johnson. I think he sits behind the Hansen, Garland, Schmit. Then marginally behind some with domestic and overseas success - e.g. Rennie (need to look at others in France etc). But overall he’s great - he picked up from the forever underperformi...

Given the flat pay across teams the short view is you can’t replace those departing.
Options - especially considering captaincy - would be:
- Luke Whitlock
- Tyler Ardron
And then look at returning players from Europe and Japan.

Fair call on defence.
If lilo is 10 then benefit of continuity.
I still don’t think TK is that much of a threat- he has good stats so I’ve probably got it wrong...

Just brought hybrid - only to be delivered later this month. Loved the drive - milk cart acceleration and can be electric only mode. Great for city driving. Not sure about electric only in Aus - high distances - but will no doubt evolve. I think European city - small-mid sized cars - perfect market.

I really hope the squad has 4 locks. I'm just not sure how you can fit four locks into a 31 man squad without seriously compromising other positions. I think we can get away with three specialist locks plus a utlity lock, with the no.3 lock and the utility player starting against the minnow teams. ...

Crotty and potentially S Barrett to miss the whole RC One of the reasons i think we need 4 locks. I agree - something not quite there with kiwis. I just think it’s that they’re not as good as opposition.
Agree NZ would be most favoured team to play.
If Aus make the final they win - they’re not great - but I think they would win a final.
I think India are the best team.
